ICAR PG 2024 : Online Applications for (ICAR) [AIEEA(PG) and AICE JRF/SRF(Ph.D)] Entrance Examinations -2024

ICAR PG 2024 : National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the ICAR Entrance Examinations [AIEEA (PG) & AICE-JRF/SRF(Ph.D)]-2024 for admission to the Post Graduate and Doctoral Degree Programmes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (lCAR)
for the academic session 2024-25

ICAR AIEEA (PG) – is All India Entrance Examination for (a) admission to 25% seats in Master Degree Programme in accredited Agricultural Universities (100% seats at IARI, IVRI, NDRI, CIFE, RLBCAU Jhansi & DR. RPCAU, PUSA) and (b) Award of ICAR-PG Scholarship/National Talent Award (PGS) in Agriculture & Allied Sciences.

ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) – is All India Competitive Examination for (a) admission to 25% seats in accredited Doctoral Degree Programmes of accredited Colleges of accredited Universities under ICAR-AU System (100% seats of ICAR Deemed Universities and Dr. RPCAU Pusa, ICAR-DUs in Doctoral Degree Programmes) and Award of ICAR-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) in Agriculture & Allied Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria for ICAR PG 2024

Factors	Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit	Must have completed 19 years of age as on August 31, 2023.
Nationality	Must possess an original identity proof confirming his/her identity as an Indian.
Educational Qualification	General category candidates should have secured at least 60% marks in graduation (in a related subject) from a University recognised by UGC. SC/ST/PwD categories should have scored a minimum of 50% marks at graduation level.

Scheme of Examination : AIEEA (PG)-2024

The test of AIEEA (PG)-2024 has a single paper of 2 hours duration. Details of the test are given below:

Scheme of Examination : AICE-JRF/SRF (PhD) -2024

The Test of AICE-JRF/SRF (PhD) will have a single Paper of 2hrs duration. Details of the Test are
as given below:

Test would consist of three Sections for AICE-JRF/SRF (PhD)

Subtest / Section A – First 20 MCQs will be common to all the 72 specialized Subjects. The questions assess the level of candidate’s awareness about the environment and its application to the society.
The questions are based on general knowledge in the domain of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry,
Dairying, Fisheries and Allied Sciences, etc. including current events and matters of everyday
observation and experience.
Subtest/Section B – 50 MCQs will be from the Core Group (refer Table 1) containing the specialized
Subject opted by the candidate for pursuing Ph.D.
